Care and Cleaning For optimal care, hand-wash or machine-wash your waders without an agitator, using cold water and normal detergent. Avoid using bleach. Hang-dry the waders inside out first to dry the interior, then flip to dry the exterior. Never place your waders in a dryer, as excess heat can affect the seam tape and void your warranty. After saltwater or salt air exposure, rinse the waders thoroughly with freshwater before washing.
